Buster, a scrappy stray cat, found himself hanging around a junkyard one day when he saw an unexpected opportunity – a chance for a job and a home.
Now retired, Buster still feels the need to visit the junkyard occasionally, just to make sure the humans there are managing without his help.
Back when he was still working at the junkyard, Buster’s future dad first noticed him lingering around. He started to leave food out for the cat and allowed him to explore the office.

It didn’t take long for Buster to act like he was in charge of the place. He quickly took on a variety of duties.
They included providing a top-notch security services, delivering excellent customer service and making sure the humans were doing their jobs properly!
He also caught the mouses with great efficiency!.. And of course, he excelled at just being a cat!
Buster also loved lounging on cars, often choosing customers’ vehicles as his resting spots, sometimes he would even get inside their cars to see what treasures might be inside!
Everyone agreed he deserved the title of employee of the month.
Eventually, Buster’s dad, who already had several cats at home, started bringing him home for weekends.
Buster was thrilled to meet his new feline brothers. They had plenty of stories to share, as some of them had also been found in the junkyard!
He particularly loved the trees at his new home. There weren’t many at the junkyard, so he was delighted to climb and explore these new surroundings.
He seemed to enjoy his weekend retreats, always looking forward to returning to the junkyard on Mondays – this may have something to do with his love for riding in the car.
Buster enjoyed hanging out with his brothers at home and even made a new friend, Buddy!
However, Buster cherished his role as the sole feline boss of the junkyard, relishing the undisturbed rest it provided.
Unfortunately for the local birds and squirrels, Dad eventually decided it was time for Buster to stay at home full-time.
He wasn’t unsafe living at the junkyard. He loved to wander around, so he was given a collar with a tracker on it, but he always returned on time. Well, almost always…
Still, Dad decided it was time for Buster to retire and settle down permanently. One day, this furry ball of energy came home to stay.
Adaptable as ever, Buster didn’t protest. He had enjoyed his adventures at the junkyard but quickly found new ways to have fun at home.
There weren’t as many cars to inspect anymore, but he made sure to check the family’s vehicles regularly.
Despite his retirement, Buster insists on returning to the junkyard every once in a while to ensure the humans can manage everything without his help.
After ensuring the business is running smoothly, Buster returns to his forever home to enjoy the best kitty life!
