The duo is an absolute delight to behold, radiating warmth and joy wherever they go. Ever since Sally lost her beloved husband back in 1990, she has been living next door to her neighbor Dave Mazarella in the beautiful town of Mt. Vernon, Washington. Over the course of 15 years, Sally has had the pleasure of knowing all of Mazarella’s lovable dogs. However, none have captured her heart quite like the mischievous and loveable Saint Bernard named Brody. Their bond is something truly special and unique. Whenever Sally and Brody are in each other’s presence, an undeniable connection between them blossoms. It’s clear that Brody holds a special place in Sally’s heart, and vice versa. And as they embark on their adventures together, their unity is truly a sight for sore eyes. Even though it’s impossible to determine who is cuter between Sally and Brody, one thing is certain: when these two come together, pure joy and love radiate in abundance. Their companionship is a testament to the beauty of human-animal relationships, reminding us all of the incredible joy that can be found in the unlikeliest of connections.
Sally wasted no time in informing TODAY that Brody, renowned for his immensely popular Instagram profile, had already dropped by for a visit in the early hours of the morning.
“He actually showed up earlier today, tagging along with Dave,” she revealed excitedly. “I can’t help but adore him! I even offered him a meager slice of bread to start his day off.” Brody and Sally’s paths cross multiple times throughout the day, and it’s safe to say that they bring immense joy to each other’s lives.
Mazarella mentioned that Brody used to casually stroll to her place, where he was introduced to the delightful world of tasty treats. From that point forward, their companionship blossomed into an extraordinary bond. Presently, the two of them accompany each other for their Sunday church visits, stay updated with the latest news together, and eagerly grab the daily newspaper side by side.
“When he lays eyes on me, his face lights up with joy,” Sally exclaimed cheerfully. “Brody adores me wholeheartedly, and Dave believes it’s because of my soothing voice.” In 1952, Sally relocated to Washington after spending her formative years on her family’s idyllic farm in Holland, where her deep admiration for animals was nurtured.
Sally is the proud mother of four children, but unfortunately, only one of them resides close by. However, despite the physical distance, Sally makes sure to stay in regular touch with all her children. They all cherish the heartwarming photographs of Sally and Brody, just as much as the rest of us do.
This incredible combination surely has a knack for filling our hearts with joy, and Sally strongly believes that her pleasant demeanor might just be the key factor behind her long and fulfilling journey through life.
“My father never failed to remind me that I was his firstborn, and he often expressed how much joy I brought into his life from the moment I came into this world,” she shared with a contented smile. “Sure, there have been a few obstacles along the way, but I have this incredible ability to quickly rebound and overcome any setback.”
